In a very similar fashion to Face on the Milk Carton & Deep End of the Ocean, Lisa McMann narrates a heartbreaking account in what should be a happy ending to a harrowing tale. After being missing for seven years, 16 year old Ethan finds his way home. However, the family reunion isn't what he expected. For the first time in a long time, Ethan must follow household rules and conform to a acceptable standard of behavior. He also fails to recall the abduction or life as a young child. Matters are worse when his younger brother Blake doubts his identity. The pieces come together in a shocking conclusion.
