Online databases are resources designed to help users find reliable & up-to-date information on a wide assortment of topics. These will include primary documents, peer-reviewed articles, interviews, archived news clippings, videos, and other helpful findings. This will save time from looking through mountains of Google search resutls to best determine an answer for a research query. Over the past couple of years, Colton High School has been unable to purchase databases due to budgetary constraints. Newly acquired Title I funds may open the door to make these available for student use. A free online trial from the Gale publishers opens up access to these invaluable materials. However, this will only last through September 24, 2013. Take a look at the following resources:
Biography in Context Literature Resource Center Opposing Viewpoints Student Resource Center The links are also included on the Colton High School Library Catalog Page. Your responses will determine if these can be purchased for the entire year.
